The Unusual & Mysterious around the Cotswolds
BROADWAY
TOWER
Built in the late 1700's the tower has commanding views and is an easy twenty minute drive from The Forge.
GARGOYLES
These strange faces adorn many churches in England and started life as water spouts to drain the roofs and towers.

THE ROLLRIGHT STONES
Generally regarded as the third most important prehistoric circle in England (after Stonehenge and Avebury) the Rollright stones date back to 1500 BC. For 3500 years Rollright has kept it's secret, it is unknown why they exist. Each visitor counts a different number of stones and no one has actually confirmed the correct number! An eerie site with a mysterious past. Five miles from The Forge.
